King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate for its Corporate, Finance and Investments practice in its newly-formed U.S. Power and Infrastructure group in New York. Qualified candidates will have three to six years’ experience working on corporate and M&A transactions (e.g., private and public company M&A transactions, including transactions with private equity purchasers and sellers) with an emphasis on power transactions (such as acquisitions and sales of solar power plants, port terminals, natural gas plants and other power facilities). All candidates should have large law firm experience, solid academic credentials from a top-tier law school, and an entrepreneurial attitude. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly-formed practice group focused on serving the firm’s clients in the power industry.
