King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate to join an award-winning products liability trial practice in its growing downtown Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will have immediate opportunities to be an integral member of experienced trial teams that actually try cases. Qualified candidates will be highly motivated to work with a collaborative team that represents large companies in complex tort, products liability, commercial litigation, and investigatory matters. Experience in products liability and/or toxic tort litigation is strongly preferred. The associate will be expected to take depositions; argue motions; prepare witness examinations; prepare pre-trial motions, including summary judgment motions and motions in limine; prepare jury instructions; and participate in trials. The position requires strong academic credentials, California bar admission, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and stand-up litigation experience.
