Real Estate Finance Partner – Phoenix, Arizona Job Level: Partner level attorney. Location: Arizona. Other Quarles offices and/or locations considered. Job Type: Full-time. Job Description: Quarles is seeking a highly motivated and experienced real estate finance partner to join its nationally Chambers-ranked Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience in real estate finance, with substantial experience advising lenders at all stages of financing transactions from term sheet negotiations and documentation to closing and ongoing advice over the life of the loan. The candidate should have a expertise in: construction loans of all asset types; homebuilder acquisition; development and vertical construction loans; health care real estate; dealer finance (including floor planning); financed ground leases; bridge and mezzanine loans; EB-5 debt; syndications; forbearance arrangements and deed-in-lieu transactions. Responsibilities: Represent clients in real estate finance transactions Draft and negotiate and/or manage drafting and negotiation of loan documents Conduct and/or manage due diligence Deliver value to the firm’s clients based on our core principles Utilize the firm’s national platform and the exceptional tools we provide to develop new business opportunities Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admitted to practice law in Arizona At least 10 years of focused experience in real estate finance Portable practice preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
