Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 30 cities, has an immediate opportunity for a labor & employment associate in Cincinnati, OH. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience. Responsibilities include litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial is preferred. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes. A license to practice in Ohio is required. Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Ohio bar exam or eligible for admission will be considered. All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. *NOTE* – Dinsmore is not utilizing search agencies to fill this position.
