Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking a qualified Attorney for its growing first party property, professional liability and general casualty defense practice. Texas license is required. Responsibilities: With the supervision of a partner, the candidate for this position will handle the legal process from investigation to trial. Tasks include but are not limited to the following: Regular communications with the client, building and establishing relationships; Advising on status of case, arbitrations and proceedings; Responding to and preparing discovery; Preparing legal analysis memorandums, briefing and reports; Conducting and defending depositions; Responding to and preparing motions and engaging in motion practice; Appearing before the Court; Preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, arbitrations, pretrial proceedings and trial; and Preparing post-trial motions and appeals, if required.
