Building on UC Berkeley's history of and commitment to research and public service, the project will be empirical, interdisciplinary, comparative, and international. <br> <br> The Empirical International Law Fellow will work on academic research and publications related to international law. Specifically, the project will focus on state responsibilities in times of crisis, on the diffusion of laws around the world, and on the role of international organizations in coordinating global responses.
