Job Description: Job Description: The Complex Claims Lead Attorney (QC Space) provides front-line project and personnel management for our Complex Claims Operations Team. The incumbent work is to support each project in whatever way is required to ensure timely and accurate execution of class action cases. Each Lead is responsible for their own individual caseload as well as direct oversight of 5-10 analysts and attorneys. Each Lead is a resource for all departments through every phase of a case. The Complex Claims Team is built around a consultative model, and Leads are expected to be the first resource for any consultative feedback. They are responsible for the timely and accurate execution of a case from the time Epiq wins the business to case closure. This includes consultation on settlement agreements, imports, claim processing, claimant correspondence, client reporting, etc. They work closely with Claims Leadership and Client Services to drive any appropriate requirements on a case-by-case basis. Responsibilities <ul> <li> Maintains a case load of 5 or more cases and ensures the accurate administration of these cases in any way required by those individual cases. This includes direct oversight of processing, correspondence, and phone projects as needed. It also includes internal and external consulting on any phase of a given project or case.</li> <li> Works closely with Data Services, Client Services, and Claims Services teams to understand project requirements and advise on best practices for project setup.</li> <li> Investigates client and internal customer complaints, concerns, and non-conformance issues and relays them to the client as needed.</li> <li> Conducts risk analysis; identifies critical control points and preventative measures; monitors quality. Also evaluates adequacy of quality assurance standards.</li> <li> Maintains working knowledge of technical concepts related to processing support software.</li> <li> Develops facility with claims and correspondence processing, as well as best practices for escalation support. Enhances department and organization reputation by taking ownership for quality and accuracy of output of the department.</li> </ul> Requirements Education: <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; Paralegal experience or other legal experience preferred.
