JUDICIARY SUBCOMMITTEE COUNSEL

<p>Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee seeks attorney for a Counsel position based in Washington, DC. Duties will primarily include providing legal and policy analysis on legislative, nomination, and other issue areas within the jurisdiction of the Judiciary Committee, but may also include providing legal advice on other matters as needed. The position also requires creative thinking on legislation and other vehicles to drive the Senator’s agenda. The candidate should possess exceptional academic credentials and 2+ years of experience in the legal field. A federal appellate or federal district clerkship is highly preferred. The candidate should be able to think creatively, should thrive in a fast-paced environment, and should work well in a team.
