<b>Senior Consumer Attorney</b>
</div>

The Vice President, Senior Consumer Attorney will support one or more consumer lines of business of the Bank including consumer lending and consumer projects as well as providing support for other functional areas including Enterprise Risk and Compliance. The Senior Consumer Attorney will be responsible for working with the consumer lines of business and functional areas to identify legal risk associated with prospective courses of action and advising on mitigating any such risk.

<b>Position Responsibilities</b>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Provide day-to-day legal guidance for one or more consumer lines of business and functional areas (e.g., Consumer Loan Center, Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance) in connection with consumer lending, projects, transactions, loan documentation and consumer regulatory issues.</li>
<li>Advise one or more consumer lines of business and functional areas on legal issues relating to policies and procedures training, and operational matters.</li>
<li>Advise Bank officers on the legal implications of new consumer regulations, new or amended laws and regulatory guidance, proposed policies, courses of action or management decisions regarding consumer matters.</li>
<li>Supervise outside counsel in connection with their retention on various consumer-related matters.</li>
<li>Complete all legal work and projects within defined plans, budgets, and schedules.</li>

<b>Position Qualifications</b>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school</li>
<li>Active member in good standing with the applicable State Bar or if licensed in another state, able to qualify for admission within a reasonable time</li>
<li>8 years of legal experience related to consumer financial matters, preferably at a financial institution, government agency or law firm</li>
<li>8 years of experience in the areas of consumer deposits and/or consumer lending preferred, but experience in other consumer areas where expertise is transferable will be considered</li>
