The Counsel Compliance Director will report to the Senior Director of Federal Regulatory Compliance and will manage the team responsible for the Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Code of Conduct and Employee Play programs as well as the Strategy &amp; Governance function of the Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions program. The Director will also support the Senior Director with strategic planning, training, review and approval of written work product, team learning and development, metrics and reporting design, engagement with senior stakeholders and management of Federal Regulatory Compliance Team support of key FanDuel initiatives.</p> <p> The ideal candidate for this role has standout ability related to program and personnel development, team management and a strong understanding of compliance fundamentals. Superior strategic, communication, and interpersonal skills are of paramount importance, as is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a commitment to being a team player, and an aptitude to quickly learn the nuances of a fast growing company within an expanding industry.</p> <p><b> THE GAME PLAN:</b><br> <b>Everyone on our team has a part to play</b></p> <ul> <li>Lead the Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Code of Conduct and Employee Play program as well as the Strategy &amp; Governance function of the Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions program</li> <li>Work with the Senior Director of Federal Regulatory Compliance to develop and execute annual plans and strategic initiatives and manage budgets</li> <li>Contribute to the training and development of members of the Federal Regulatory Compliance Team</li> <li>Represent the Federal Regulatory Compliance Team in meetings with internal and external partners and provide tactical and strategic input</li> <li>Make presentations and participate in meetings with executive-level management</li> <li>Develop and own metrics and reporting related to process execution and key events</li> <li>Play a key role in the development and approval of policies, procedures, job guides and training materials</li> <li>Manage execution of special assignments arising out of team investigations and other developments</li> <li>Identify and participate in opportunities for advancing FanDuel Federal Regulatory Compliance visibility and priorities within the gaming industry and regulatory environment</li> <li>Review and approve work product generated throughout the Federal Regulatory Compliance program (due diligence questionnaire responses, audit reports, Suspicious Activity Reports, etc.)</li> <li>Oversee audit and regulator program reviews and inquiries</li> </ul> <p><b>THE STATS:</b><br> <b>What we're looking for in our next teammate</b></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years working in the legal or compliance function of a highly regulated financial institution or equivalent; including as a practicing attorney</li> <li>Experience managing teams engaged in complex process execution</li> <li>Previous design and stand-up of a team or program</li> <li>Demonstrated application of critical thinking to process execution, including identification of improvements</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present key findings from investigations in understandable and effective ways across the organization.</li> <li>Well organized, efficient, self-starter, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>An exceptional team builder and team player, with a desire to be a leader within FanDuel</li> </ul> <p><b>PLAYER CONTRACT:</b><br> <b>We treat our team right</b></p> <ul> <li>From our many opportunities for professional development to our generous insurance and paid leave policies, we're committed to making sure our employees get as much out of FanDuel as we ask them to give.
