Troutman Pepper’s Consumer Financial Services practice group is seeking an attorney to join our team (location flexible). Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of consumer finance related litigation experience. Experience with the following is a plus: Mortgage Servicing Litigation Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCPA) Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) Candidates must have strong academic and professional credentials. Candidates must also be licensed and in good standing with at least one of the following state bars: California, Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, Washington, Arizona, Hawaii or Oklahoma. Admissions to other bars a plus. Troutman Pepper’s Consumer Financial Services practice focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000, dependent on relevant years of experience for full time employment. Part time applicants may also be considered.
