As a civil litigation defense attorney at CSVL, you’ll be a part of a team representing professionals and other defendants or respondents involved in professional liability cases and similar disputes in litigation and arbitration. You will be handling cases from beginning to end, including the preparation of pleadings and motions and participation in all aspects of discovery, dispute resolution/mediation and trial. Additionally, you’ll work closely with CSVL team members to ensure all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Minimum 2 years as a practicing attorney Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. 2-4 years civil litigation experience and preferably medical malpractice experience. Experience with insurance defense matters and meeting billing guidelines. Admission and good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and the Federal courts of Georgia (minimum Northern District). Experience handling all aspects of litigation leading to trial, including preparing pleadings, discovery and mediations.
