Seyfarth Shaw - a leading AmLaw 100 firm with offices throughout the US and abroad - is looking for a commercial litigation attorney with experience with consumer financial services litigation who is licensed to practice in and based in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders or other financial institutions in defending claims brought under a variety federal statutes and regulations, as well as related state laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also have significant practice experience in Connecticut courts, including familiarity and comfort with the Connecticut court systems and rules of civil procedure. Top law firm experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required. Must be admitted to Connecticut bar, with Massachusetts and/or New York licensure a plus. The position is open to candidates looking for a full time, yet flexible schedule that emphasizes work/life balance. Candidates will work from a virtual/remote office, and travel throughout Connecticut (and occasionally to our Boston office) will be required.
