The preferred office location is Los Angeles, but candidates in San Francisco will also be considered. Candidates should have at least three years of employment law experience, covering federal and California state employee-protective laws; the Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act and other California wage-and-hour litigation, including independent contractor misclassification; and harassment and discrimination litigation. Candidates should have experience drafting and revising employment-related agreements, handbooks and policies; providing advice and counsel regarding employment-related matters; and taking and defending depositions, briefing and arguing motions, responding to discovery, and appearing before courts and relevant administrative agencies. Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and California bar admission are also required.
