Greenberg Traurig’s Chicago office is seeking a Patent Agent or Associate. The Ideal candidate will have a 3 plus years of experience in patent prosecution and has drafted at least 25 patent applications. The candidate must have a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science. Mechanical Engineer background would be considered if there is substantial software patent experience. Experience in AI, blockchain, cloud computing and cybersecurity preferred. Candidates must be in good standing with the Illinois Bar or be admitted as soon as practicable. Qualified individuals must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong legal research, writing and analytical skills and be comfortable working directly with clients. Must be self-motivated and flexible. Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred. We are not accepting third party submissions from search firms for this position.
