Sands Anderson PC is expanding its Business Group, seeking experienced attorneys to join our Commercial Real Estate and Community Associations Teams. Ideal candidates will have six to ten years’ experience representing developers, lenders, landlords, community associations, and others, including in: Commercial real estate acquisition, purchase, financing, and leasing. Community association formation, registration, governance, and compliance, for residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominiums and other projects. Successful candidates will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and drafting agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations and covenants, and other instruments related to commercial real estate transactions and common-interest community ventures, and managing others to ensure that closings timely occur and other milestones are met. In addition to substantive legal knowledge and experience as to all aspects of relevant law—from title, environmental, corporate, and government, through post-closing issues—requirements include perseverance, appreciation of detail, and availability to work outside of typical business hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
