We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only be at the forefront of complex litigation but also to advance your expertise in the rapidly growing field of eDiscovery. You will play a vital role in supporting our firm’s largest and most complex litigation matters, specifically focusing on electronic discovery (eDiscovery) and trial preparation. You will work closely with principals and associates, contributing significantly to the success of our key cases. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Practice Solutions team on other litigation matters, further enhancing your eDiscovery skillset. Senior Paralegal Specialist Job Responsibilities: Case Management and Trial Preparation: Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and trial exhibits. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant legal issues. Utilize case management tools, such as Opus, for assisting case teams with deposition transcript management, among other tasks, Organize and maintain case files and prepare trial notebooks. Assist with witness preparation and manage witness schedules. Attend depositions, hearings, and trial, and provide real-time support to attorneys. Discovery Management: Work closely with case teams and Practice Solutions team to manage and execute eDiscovery workflows using Relativity, including processing, culling, and production of electronically stored information (ESI). Assist with the development and implementation of eDiscovery strategies in consultation with attorneys and the Practice Solutions team. Conduct advanced eDiscovery searches in Relativity and utilize various filtering and tagging techniques. Prepare documents for production in discovery, other discovery deliverables and privilege logs. Additional Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with and at the direction of the Practice Solutions team on various litigation matters, as needed. Maintain a strong understanding of applicable legal rules and procedures. Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Senior Paralegal Specialist Qualifications: Paralegal certification (preferred) or minimum 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Strong understanding of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and eDiscovery best practices. Proven experience using Relativity, case and fact management, and other evidence or trial presentation software. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position or sit for prolonged periods and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
