Pryor Cashman’s China Practice seeks a senior associate or counsel with 5+ years of experience in securities law. The ideal candidate will advise public and private companies with operations primarily in China, both domestic and foreign, on a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including securities offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M+A), corporate governance, financings, and general corporate matters. Work with companies in different industries to complete public offerings or private placements in the United States and ensure they meet SEC regulations as well as other state and federal legal and regulatory compliance requirements. Communicate with investors, regulators, and SROs. Conduct legal research, review and analyze public companies’ periodic reports to be filed with the SEC, and handle international transactions. In addition to exceptional legal skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Candidates must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or foreign equivalent. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required. Salary: $250,000+.
