Job Title: BXMA – Legal &amp; Product Structuring Attorney, AVP Job Description: The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters relating to hedge fund, hybrid fund and fund of hedge fund investing and structuring. Primary job responsibilities will include: <ul> <li> Structuring, negotiation and formation of BXMA’s commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments; </li> <li> negotiation and execution of certain direct and indirect investments within BXMA’s Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy and Total Portfolio investment strategies, </li> <li> substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients; </li> <li> management of external counsel; </li> <li> negotiation and review of various legal documentation; </li> <li> and ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA’s business. </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li> J.D. degree required. </li> <li> Candidates should possess a minimum of four (4) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience. </li> <li> The successful candidate should have strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interpret legal and business terms. </li> <li> BXMA seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, enthusiastic, have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors and are team players. </li> </ul> <br> The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position. Expected annual base salary range: $135,000 - $185,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
