<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText jobsearch-JobComponent-description css-1x2lix0 eu4oa1w0"><div> <p><b>Job Purpose:</b></p> <div> You will support the in-house corporate legal services team of DHL Group and its newly formed company, Hillebrand Gori. You will be the legal professional responsible for advising the businesses on a wide range of legal matters in the fields of logistics, post-merger integration, compliance and commercial contracts. </div> <div></div> <div> <b><br> Your tasks:</b> </div> <div></div> <ul> <li> Working with department colleagues in DHL Group and Hillebrand Gori to establish best in class legal processes and procedures to assure business objectives are met and legal risks are identified and mitigated.</li> <li> Providing comprehensive legal services to one or more DHL Group business units in the areas of post-merger integration; commercial contract negotiation; and regulatory compliance (e.g. FMC, DOT and customs brokerage compliance).</li> <li> Reviewing and negotiating legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example inter-company loans, leases, vendor agreements,) to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.</li> <li> Overseeing the use of outside counsel, including management of legal budgets.</li> <li> Collaborating frequently with business partners, local management, global DHL Group project teams and legal colleagues from across the various DHL Group business units.</li> <li> Developing legal processes to ensure goal alignment across cross-functional teams.</li> <li> Providing rapid, practical, business-oriented advice to other legal team members and directly to internal clients.</li> <li> Proactively working to resolve potential legal matters from investigation through resolution, where appropriate.</li> <li> Devising and managing scalable processes and procedures to navigate commonly encountered legal issues.</li> </ul> <p></p> <div> <p><b><br> Your profile:</b></p> <div></div> <ul> <li> 5+ years’ experience with strong analytical skills.</li> <li> Undergraduate university degree.</li> <li> Professional Juris Doctorate degree from accredited institution.</li> <li> License to practice law in United States and in good standing.</li> <li> Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster trust and confidence in colleagues at all levels of the organization.</li> <li> Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li> Must be able to research, analyze and problem solve.</li> <li> Ability to travel as required (estimated 10 to 15% of the time).</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> We offer:</b></p> <ul> <li> Great opportunity to work for the biggest logistics company in the world</li> <li> International and virtual environment</li> <li> Flexibility and great opportunity to learn.</li> <li> Tempting Compensation and benefits</li> </ul> </div> <br> Equal Opportunity Employer, Disability/Vets.
