<br> The Breckinridge County Circuit Court has an immediate need for a Staff Attorney.
<br>
<br> Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li> Perform legal research and record analysis pertaining to cases before the court. </li>
<li>Draft of opinions, orders, and judgements. </li>
<li>Assist court in editing and release of opinions. </li>
<li>Assist court in preparing jury instructions. </li>
<li>Advise court as to current changes in the law and recent decisions. </li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements
<b>EDUCATION:</b> Bachelor's-graduate of accredited law school

<b>EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:</b> Advanced degree- graduate of accredited law school

<b>Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:</b> NONE

<br>
<b>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):</b> Must be a member of the KY bar association or be taking every reasonable step to gain admission.
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Travel may be required.
