Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon is seeking to grow its litigation practice in its Miramar Beach office with the addition of an attorney with 2-8 years of litigation experience. The successful candidate will primarily handle business, commercial and real estate litigation matters. Potential clients include businesses, property owners, contractors, personal representatives, real estate developers, financial institutions, and condominium/homeowner associations. Specific tasks will include drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery, attending depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as well as communicating and negotiating with parties. You will collaborate with over 25 talented and team-oriented attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Juris Doctorate Degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school Admission to The Florida Bar THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL Have excellent written and oral communication skills Excel in a team environment Be highly motivated and a self-starter Be flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Have at least two years of business, commercial and/or real estate litigation experience SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervising support staff including but not limited to paralegals and legal assistants.
