Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. seeks a candidate with two to four years of environmental law experience to join our Austin office. The ideal candidate should have substantive experience and interest in handling matters arising under the Texas Clean Air Act and the Federal Clean Air Act. All candidates should have a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must have the following qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Status as an active member of the Texas bar, or status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state or the District of Columbia, and the ability to become admitted to the Texas bar. Experience with, or demonstrated interest in major federal environmental statutes and comparable laws and regulations in Texas. Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, the ability to work well under deadlines, and the ability to assume significant client responsibilities. Creative and critical thinking skills. The compensation for this position may also include a discretionary annual bonus and an hours-based bonus.
