Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 firm ranked #17 in Vault’s “2024 Best Law Firms to Work For,” seeks an associate with three to five years of litigation experience to join the Construction Group in our Boston, MA office. Admission to the Massachusetts bar is required for this role. Our Construction Group comprises skilled litigators and transactional attorneys—a combination of talent that affords our clients a breadth of experience and depth. Our lawyers handle a broad range of issues involved in construction projects, including contract procurement and delivery, drafting and negotiating design and construction contracts, and claims and dispute resolution. We work on all types of construction projects in the Northeast and nationally. The Construction Associate will be primarily responsible for supporting the litigation side of our practice, although there will be opportunities for transactional and counseling work with our construction industry clients. We are seeking to add to our Practice Group a motivated candidate with excellent writing and communication skills. Litigation experience, including case management, motion practice, and trial preparation involving experts, is required for this position. Prior experience in construction law and familiarity with Relativity software are preferred. The successful candidate will receive ample learning opportunities, including a role as second-chair at trials. Periodic travel along the East Coast is expected.
