Cozen O’Connor’s Global Insurance Department seeks an associate with insurance litigation experience to join the Philadelphia office. Candidates with four to seven years of experience are preferred. This candidate will focus primarily on supporting the needs of the firm’s long-term care insurance practice and handle matters involving class action and complex coverage litigation, fraud and abuse, bad faith claims and coverage matters specific to the insurance industry. Ideal candidates will have experience researching, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and making court appearances. Experience representing insurers, brokers, brokerages and TPAs with long-term care insurance matters a plus. Attorneys with medical malpractice, disability or life insurance experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical, research and writing skills, and academic achievement. Pennsylvania Bar required.
