Job Description: Williams Mullen is seeking an associate with 2-5 years’ experience in Labor & Employment matters to join our vibrant Labor, Employment & Immigration team in our Virginia Beach, VA office. Job Requirements: 2-5 years’ experience practicing employment law, including employment litigation, employment counseling, alternative dispute resolution and traditional labor law. Additional experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, conducting depositions, oral argument, drafting and reviewing contracts, and negotiating settlements. Ability to recognize the importance of early, accurate risk assessment, as well as experience working with management and in-house counsel, is considered a plus. Excellent writing and analytical skills, scrupulous attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters involving direct client interaction. Successful candidates will possess the ambition to excel within a fast-paced law firm environment and enjoy working with like-minded attorneys. Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, immediate waive in or a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
