Weber Gallagher has an opening for an experienced litigation paralegal for our commercial vehicle/transportation practice. This position reports to a team in our Harrisburg location but is currently remote. Qualified candidate must possess five to six years’ experience in complex defense litigation, be familiar with Pennsylvania and Federal court filings, daily time entry billing requirements, and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as document management and timekeeping software. We are looking for someone who can work with attorneys, other paralegals, clients, and expert witnesses using a team approach. A Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved organization or a bachelor’s degree is a plus. Experience or familiarity with New Jersey and New York is a plus. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial transportation defense litigation including case management, serving and responding to discovery and trial preparation. Conduct legal research. Draft legal pleadings and documents. Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel and witnesses. Maintain and organize case files.
