The dynamic corporate practice at K&L Gates currently seek a mid to senior level Capital Markets associate for our Orange County office. Ideal candidates will have three to seven years of work experience in corporate law, with experience in public company securities offerings and compliance required. Candidates will be working with the corporate practice’s growing capital markets clients, and should be experienced with sophisticated finance transactions, including public and private securities offerings, as well as general corporate and corporate governance matters. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require previous large law firm experience, strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Base Salary - $295,000.00-$365,000.00 The base compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, market factors and candidate’s geographic location.
