Robins Kaplan LLP

Our Silicon Valley office seeks an associate to join our Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation (IP&T) practice. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials and three to six years of complex litigation experience in intellectual property and technology cases. Strong research and writing skills are required along with a demonstrated desire to be a trial lawyer. Successful candidates will also have strong creative problem solving, interpersonal, organization, planning, and communication skills. In addition, associates in the IP&T department must be able to understand complex scientific and engineering concepts and have the ability to manage cases, assignments, and team members efficiently and effectively, work independently and as a member of a team, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Individuals who are results-oriented and self-starters with a high level of initiative and work ethic will find themselves at home. You will have opportunities for substantive case work including depositions, motion practice, and trial. We also provide training to help you become a premier trial lawyer. Apply now if you would like to practice law in an environment where new challenges and growth are approached with energy, enthusiasm, and hard work, where you work directly with clients and other counsel, and where your efforts are appropriately rewarded with extremely competitive compensation and benefits. Applicants must be admitted, or eligible to become admitted, to practice in California. Admission before the United States Patent & Trademark Office is a plus, but not required. At Robins Kaplan LLP, our commitment to diversity has been constantly renewed and revitalized since the founding of our firm in 1938.
