Murtha Cullina LLP is a regional law firm with offices in CT, MA and NY currently seeking a full-time Trust & Estates Associate to join our Stamford, CT office. Candidates transitioning from New York are strongly encouraged to apply. Although the position is based in Stamford, the Associate would also be working with attorneys in the firm’s other offices. This will be a hybrid in-office and remote role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented department and firm. Position Requirements: Experience drafting estate planning documents including all types of trusts, as well as complex estate and trust administration Experience with estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns is preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients Candidate must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar Admission to the Connecticut bar will be required, and admission to both New York and Connecticut is preferred At Murtha Cullina, you will find a quality of life-based collegial work environment and a competitive benefits package.
