The Financial Industry Group of Reed Smith LLP is seeking a Senior level Finance Associates to join the firm’s secured finance group in New York, Miami or Chicago. The group represents clients in a variety of sophisticated secured lending and other debt finance transactions, including leveraged finance, cash flow and asset-based loans, acquisition finance, debt restructurings, equipment finance, and related transactions. The group serves a variety of clients, among them financial institutions (including bank and non-bank lenders and investment funds), borrowers, and private equity sponsors. Successful candidates will have 6 to 8 years of substantive law firm experience in one or more of these areas. The group does highly sophisticated and diversified work and is committed to providing substantial support and training. Our associates have the opportunity to experience a variety of types of transactions and clients and enjoy substantial opportunity for professional development. The group is busy and has a substantial need for additional associate support. $325,000 - $390,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position.
