The firm seeks an attorney with 5 to 8 years’ experience to support its water litigation practice. Litigation experience including drafting pleadings, performing discovery, and arguing motions is essential. This position involves representation of public and private sector clients statewide, in both state and federal court, in a broad range of water-related issues including water rights, water supply, flood control law, federal reclamation law, public agency law, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, and California Environmental Quality Act compliance. Familiarity with natural resource or regulatory issues is a plus. Associate base compensation is lockstep and determined by class year, substantive experience, and geography. Salary for attorneys at the level of experience indicated ranges from $185,000.00-$215,000.00. Bonus consideration is given for productivity and performance.
