We have a lot to be proud of. <br> <br> <p></p> <p>Position is Remote, operating on West Coast hours</p> <p></p> <p><b> Position Summary</b></p> <p> HackerOne is looking for a Commercial Counsel to be a “hands-on” member of the legal team and support the company in its mission to build a safer internet. You will be asked to leverage your contract negotiation and drafting skills and to collaborate cross-functionally with teams at HackerOne, all while working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.</p> <p></p> <p><b> What You Will Do</b></p> <ul> <li><p> Draft and negotiate a high volume of SaaS agreements, distribution agreements, reseller agreements, data processing agreements, NDAs, and other ancillary documents relating to HackerOne’s products and services.</p></li> <li><p> Review product and commercial matters, including vendor and partnership agreements, go-to-market enablement, and other matters as they arise.</p></li> <li><p> Advise on corporate governance matters, audits, annual report filings, and other corporate transactions.</p></li> <li><p> Work cross-functionally on a variety of legal matters to support business development and innovation across markets.</p></li> <li><p> Contribute positively to the legal team and to the company.</p></li> <li><p> Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers on a mix of commercial and corporate matters.</p></li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b> Minimum Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li><p> Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school (JD) and bar admission in good standing in your practice jurisdiction.</p></li> <li><p> 5 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house, including transactional experience and ideally with international exposure.</p></li> <li><p> Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change within a rapidly growing company.</p></li> </ul> <p></p> <p><br> Employment at HackerOne is contingent on a background check.</p> <p></p> <p> HackerOne is an Equal Opportunity Employer in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, pregnancy, disability or veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by international, federal, state, or local laws.</p> <p></p> <p> This policy applies to all HackerOne employment practices, including hiring, recruiting, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, training, and apprenticeship.
