As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.</p> <p></p> <p><b><br> What the day will look like</b></p> <p></p> <ul> <li><p><br> Conduct complex internal investigations related to potential employee misconduct in violation of Aon’s Code of Conduct and/or the laws and regulations of the United States and other countries in which Aon operates, including anti-corruption, fraud, and other types of corporate misconduct.</p></li> <li><p> Scope, manage, and direct complex, high visibility, and privileged internal investigations.</p></li> <li><p> Coordinate with other corporate functions, such as Audit, People Organization, IT, Security, and Compliance to support complex, cross-functional investigations.</p></li> <li><p> Collaborate with and manage outside counsel, as appropriate.</p></li> <li><p> Serve as a day-to-day legal advisor for Aon’s Global Investigations team responsible for investigating Code of Business Conduct violations and other legal, regulatory, or company policy violations.</p></li> <li><p> Serve as the day-to-day legal advisor for Aon’s Global &amp; Regional Conduct &amp; Ethics Committees providing advice on conduct and consequence management to minimize legal risk to the firm. </p></li> <li><p>Support Aon’s Ethics Point hotline, assisting with the escalation and triage of sensitive and high visibility hotline reports.</p></li> <li><p> Provide updates and written work product to the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior business leaders on investigative activities and results.</p></li> <li><p> Closely coordinate with Aon’s Regional Conduct Committees to implement remediation activities, training, consequence management. </p></li> <li><p>Review and update internal investigative protocols and templates to align with best-in-class investigation practices. </p></li> <li><p>Develop and deliver trainings to investigators on investigative best practices, compliance trends and enforcement actions, updated internal investigatory procedures, etc.</p></li> <li><p> Support on employment law related projects and initiatives and provide employment law advice to internal business clients. </p></li> <li><p>Assist with Conduct &amp; Ethics diligence related to Company’s M&amp;A activity.</p></li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> Skills and experience that will lead to success</b></p> <p></p> <ul> <li><p><br> Experience delivering training</p></li> <li><p> Managed complex internal investigations regarding employee misconduct and fraud</p></li> <li><p> Has served as legal advisor to management or board</p></li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><br> How we support our colleagues</b></p> <p></p> <p><br> In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
