Our community is a tight knit group of remarkable individuals interested in intellectual inquiry and making a difference in the world. </div> <div></div> <div> Requirements </div> <div></div> <div> Job Overview </div> <div> The Fellow will work for the Georgetown Center for the Constitution under the supervision of the Executive Director. The Fellow is responsible for conducting research, writing a major project (such as a series of articles or a book), helping to organize convenings and conferences, and otherwise assisting the operational and administrative functions of the assigned Center or Institute. Generally, the Fellow will: </div> <ul> <li> Work with the Executive Director, faculty members, and staff to conduct research projects, including legal and policy research on issues relevant to constitutional interpretation.</li> <li> Support the Institute with the organization of externally and internally facing meetings of varying sizes. This will involve coordination of content and programs with participants and external partners, development of messaging, and overseeing planning and logistics.</li> <li> Contribute content to the Center’s website and printed materials describing the Fellow’s projects and related work.</li> <li> Auditing courses at Georgetown University Law Center relevant to research.</li> <li> Other projects as assigned.</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation </div> <div> The Fellow reports directly to the Executive Director of the Georgetown Center for the Constitution. The Fellow will have interaction with students, faculty, and support offices on the Law Center’s campus, in addition to external partners and stakeholders. </div> <div></div> <div> Requirements and Qualifications </div> <div> The position is open to individuals with a United States law degree or international equivalent. Relevant coursework or other experience in constitutional law required. </div> <div> Other skills: Excellent research and legal writing skills required. Ability to operate professionally in interactions with academic and other stakeholders required.
