Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm with more than 800 attorneys, has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Labor and Employment attorney with 4+ years of experience for a position in the New York office. This position will be based out of our New York office but the right candidate has the flexibility to work from home whenever desired. Candidates should have at least 2 years of increasingly responsible employment law experience and be excited to work in a collaborative team, delivering high quality work and be a member of the New York bar. Candidates should have familiarity with federal and state court practice, as well as with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other federal, state and local government administrative agencies. Candidates should have the ability to handle, under supervision of more senior attorneys, a litigation-oriented practice, including drafting responsive pleadings, handling all aspects of the discovery process, and drafting motions, including motions for summary judgment.
