O’Hagan Meyer LLC, a Chicago Loop law firm, is seeking to hire full-time associate attorneys with 5+ Years of class action litigation experience in its Chicago, IL office. Candidates must be familiar with class action, cybersecurity and data privacy litigation, including BIPA. Duties include but are not limited to legal research, drafting pleadings, taking, and defending depositions, drafting, and answering discovery, class motions and discovery and preparing cases for trial, and assisting with trial. Qualifications and Skills: Ideal candidate must have very strong understanding and competency of State and Federal court rules and procedures, CAFA, BIPA and other data privacy laws, organizational skills to manage a varied caseload, and strong writing skills to communicate effectively to the court, client and opposing counsel. Juris doctorate from ABA-accredited law school and Bar admission in the State of Illinois is required. The Chicago office represents clients around the country and bar admissions to multiple states would be considered during hiring. Salary based on experience and includes exceptional benefit package.
