We are seeking an associate class of 2021 to 2019 to join the Asset Finance & Securitization team in our Global Finance group. Dechert asset finance and securitization lawyers have been at the forefront of securitization since the birth of the industry in the 1980s. Our dynamic team represents issuers, borrowers, hedge funds, credit funds, banks and underwriters, and other market participants in structuring complex securitization transactions and asset financings (including repo and warehouse financings). Our lawyers represent issuers and underwriters in the leading RMBS and consumer ABS offerings in the public and private markets. Salary is $260,000+ commensurate with class year and experience. Prior work with structured finance and securitization, with a particular emphasis on Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) secured by QM and non-QM mortgage loans, reverse mortgage loans, HELOCs and Reperforming Loans (RPLs) and/or an emphasis on consumer Asset Backed Securities (ABS) secured by consumer loans, marketplace loans, auto loans, credit card receivables, and equipment loans. Additional experience related to other classes is also helpful, including transactions involving solar loans, mineral rights, royalties, single family rental properties, timeshares and trade receivables
