Dinsmore is seeking a patent paralegal at our Cincinnati, OH location to support a growing IP practice group. Responsibilities Performing high quality, billable work Reviewing and organizing patent files, reviewing docket for deadlines Prioritizing workload to meet patent foreign filing deadlines and due dates Preparing and reviewing appropriate correspondence from foreign associates and to clients and associates regarding new patent applications, formal requirements, filing details, etc. Assist in filing of U.S. and PCT patent applications, both electronically and paper (including preparation and review of necessary filing documents) Extensive knowledge of U.S. patent rules and procedures; knowledge of PCT, and/or national patent laws of other countries Process Office Actions File and assist in prosecution of design patent applications Track chain of title in U.S. patents and ability to perfect same Communication with the USPTO and relevant knowledge regarding the USPTO databases Preparing, maintaining and updating reports for clients regarding status of patent applications and issued patents, including reporting filing receipts for applications, publication notices and forwarding patent certificates Performing high quality, billable work Reviewing and organizing patent files, reviewing docket for deadlines Prioritizing workload to meet patent foreign filing deadlines and due dates Preparing and reviewing appropriate correspondence from foreign associates and to clients and associates regarding new patent applications, formal requirements, filing details, etc. Assist in filing of U.S. and PCT patent applications, both electronically and paper (including preparation and review of necessary filing documents) Extensive knowledge of U.S. patent rules and procedures; knowledge of PCT, and/or national patent laws of other countries Process Office Actions File and assist in prosecution of design patent applications Track chain of title in U.S. patents and ability to perfect same Communication with the USPTO and relevant knowledge regarding the USPTO databases Preparing, maintaining and updating reports for clients regarding status of patent applications and issued patents, including reporting filing receipts for applications, publication notices and forwarding patent certificates Requirements Minimum of three years intellectual property experience Previous foreign filing experience Strong computer and research skills General knowledge of patent filing and patent prosecution rules/regulations Experience utilizing Anaqua and/or CPI docketing software is a plus Detail oriented, highly skilled, flexible, and ability to prioritize busy workload Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Minimum of three years intellectual property experience Previous foreign filing experience Strong computer and research skills General knowledge of patent filing and patent prosecution rules/regulations Experience utilizing Anaqua and/or CPI docketing software is a plus Detail oriented, highly skilled, flexible, and ability to prioritize busy workload Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Equal Opportunity Employer For more information: Please email jobs@dinsmore.com For more information: Please email jobs@dinsmore.com jobs@dinsmore.com
