Job Description: Williams Mullen is seeking an ambitious associate with 3-5 years’ experience in Corporate and transactional matters to join our established corporate group in our Tysons, VA office. Ideal candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit looking for a positive career trajectory, enhance professional development skills, business development experience, significant responsibility on complex matters, and a chance to work on work closely with partners on all levels of direct client interaction. Job Requirements: Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of significant experience with general Corporate and business transactional matters including the following: M&A, Corporate transactions, Commercial Contracts, complex contract drafting and negotiation, contract analysis, regulatory review, entity formation and capitalization. A successful candidate must be meticulous with details and demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters. Possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems. Strong writing credentials and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, immediate waive in or a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
