We are seeking an Associate (4 - 8 PQE) with experience in complex, non-contentious, construction matters, to join our successful team in either Manchester or Birmingham. From a UK perspective, we advise our clients on all aspects of their construction and engineering projects, from project inception and procurement through to execution, commissioning support to assistance in the resolution of any disputes. The team advises on all standard forms of UK contracts including NEC4, JCT as well as international forms such as FIDIC and bespoke EPC contracts.It is a busy time for our team, so what you bring in strong work ethic, you will get out in invaluable knowledge and development opportunities. You We are looking for an individual with between 4 - 8 years’ post-qualification experience with a strong track record in non-contentious construction, and the drive and ability to deliver high-quality work. The successful candidate will work alongside a wider team of Partners and Associates to strengthen and broaden client relationships, develop and build the practice and support our junior Associates. You will be a confident individual, well on the way to building a strong network of your own, and will be eager to build long-lasting relationships with clients and potential clients and advisers.You will be coming from a well-recognised international, national or regional practice and have international experience. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment and will work closely with our clients and other advisors so good communication skills are essential. Subject to your skillset and experience, there may be opportunities for this role to work on a combination of contentious and non-contentious matters, or to work more closely with our Projects and Infrastructure team on a range of different infrastructure projects.
