Our tax practice supports our clients to resolve the most complex issues arising from their transactions, controversies, and regular business matters. Our Australian tax practice has recently advised on some of the largest domestic and global tax matters including: • ongoing transfer pricing litigation; • ongoing litigation in response to Diverted Profits Tax assessments; • the application of the transfer pricing, anti-avoidance and hybrid mismatch rules to financing arrangements; • disputes regarding source and permanent establishment issues; • disputes regarding the migration of intellectual property, including transfer pricing and characterization issues; and • a variety of cross-border M&A transactions.
