Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic litigation practice has an opportunity for an Insurance and Bad Faith Litigation Attorney with a minimum of four years of litigation experience to join our Seattle office. Responsibilities will include litigating insurance and bad faith actions in Washington and other jurisdictions, and providing a wide range of insurance coverage services to our clients. The ideal candidate with have extensive experience in all facets of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in the office. Founded more than 70 years ago, Ropers Majeski maintains offices internationally and throughout the United States. Skills and Educational Requirements JD with excellent academic credentials Minimum of four years of solid litigation experience, with at least two years handling coverage matters and litigating bad faith and/or insurance-related actions Ability to handle breach of contract, bad faith, and all facets of insurance litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing Demonstrated experience providing liability analyses to clients and fashioning litigation strategies commensurate with the case Experience with both state and federal court proceedings Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner Current Washington Bar admission in good standing is required. California Bar Admission is a plus Compensation & Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000.
