Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: As a Technology Corporate Counsel you will be part of a highly collaborative, innovative and inclusive legal team that delivers world-class legal services to our company and our business partners; you will help driving our business strategy and guiding the Company in taking smart and consistent decisions align with our values. <br> <br> Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel, the role will support IT/SaaS and technology agreements. We are seeking an outstanding technology attorney with strong business orientation who is looking for a new challenge to join our team. In this role, you will: <ul> <li> Structuring, drafting, negotiating, and advising on contract risk mitigations, in the areas of IT/technology/EULA/SaaS agreements, and others.</li> <li> Interact with all internal and external partners.</li> <li> Supporting the Company’s technology transformation goals and special projects, as needed.</li> <li> Developing and implementing legal training for business and procurement teams.</li> <li> Helping business partners on a variety of legal questions.</li> <li> Supporting Company’s contracting practices through cross-functional critical initiatives.</li> </ul> What we look for: Experience <ul> <li> 3-5 years of proven experience as an attorney at a well-respected law firm and/or in-house law team for large companies.</li> <li> Required to be a member of the California State Bar or eligible to register under the California State Bar in-house counsel program.</li> <li> Experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements.</li> <li> Experience handling various projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment with proven skills in prioritizing tasks.</li> </ul> Skills <ul> <li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to transform sophisticated information into clear, concise and actionable communications for business partners.</li> <li> Be highly adaptable to work with different teams.</li> <li> Can-do attitude; approach work and colleagues with a goal-oriented mindset.</li> <li> Proven ability to build great relationships with business partners, including developing and leveraging strong networks to drive business goals.</li> <li> Versatility to advise across a broad range of commercial workstreams and connect the dots between cross-functional areas.</li> <li> Curiosity about proactively streamlining legal team processes and procedures to best help an evolving business.</li> </ul> Education <ul> <li> BA/BS in Law and JD</li> </ul> #LI-Hybrid Workplace type: Hybrid We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. –Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100 –Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100 –Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
