<b>Summary / objective of position:</b>
This position will report to the President of JAM and be responsible for building the firm’s intermediary relationships and assets under management with a primary wholesaling focus on RIAs. Determine the needs of each unique partner within the intermediary marketspace, develop marketing materials and campaigns for investment professionals.
<b>Essential functions of position:</b>
<ul>
<li>Manage and develop assigned territory, market(s) and channels</li>
<li>Cultivate institutional mutual fund & SMA relationships</li>
<li>Serve as portfolio specialist, provide technical information and effectively position the firm’s investment strategies,</li>
</ul>
demonstrate a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, financial markets and industry related topics
<ul>
<li>Advise on and assist with the preparation of proposals and presentations as needed</li>
<li>Coordinate and schedule the use of firm’s resources – RFP’s, presentations, travel and investment professionals for</li>
</ul>
meetings and presentations
<ul>
<li>Identify and determine appropriate search activity and RFP’s</li>
<li>Prepare and present at due diligence meetings, prospective client meetings and finals (new business) presentations</li>
<li>Attend appropriate industry events and conferences to increase firm’s visibility, brand awareness and overall</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Identify and close sales opportunities</li>
<li>Take an active role in client service and client relationship development after the sale</li>
<li>Develop and coordinate all collateral materials and marketing related to institutional funds with the marketing team</li>
<li>Create and execute efficient and cost-effective marketing/business plan within budgetary guidelines</li>
<li>Increase the visibility of Johnson Asset Management</li>
<li>Effectively track all new and existing business generation</li>
</ul>
<b>Preferred education and experience</b>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record of consistently outperforming sales goals and excelling throughout career</li>
<li>Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)</li>
<li>Significant knowledge of investment products</li>
<li>Extensive contact list and relationships within the target market</li>
<li>Highly organized and able to manage a large pipeline of prospective clients</li>
<li>Ability to utilize databases to develop and cultivate targeted prospects</li>
<li>Proven ability to work in a team environment, desire to collaborate on areas outside the core job description</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial – possess strong desire to be part of a growing/dynamic organization and be directly involved in the development of the strategic long-term plan</li>
<li>Initiative & High Energy– driven by incentive compensation and desire to build business</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, MBA or CFA preferred</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in an intermediary sales and wholesaler role</li>
<li>Highly motivated successful experienced salesperson with an established client list</li>
