S</p> <ul> <li>upports projects and teams - Supports or leads projects and teams providing legal support and solutions to the Company's business units or corporate departments. P</li> <li>rovides advice - Provides focused and practical legal advice respecting business operations as well as the impact of current or anticipated laws, rules and regulations. S</li> <li>ubstantiates positions - Researches, develops and coordinates implementation of legal solutions. M</li> <li>itigates risk - Identifies and analyzes existing and emerging legal risks. Develops and implements business-focused strategies to manage risks. C</li> <li>ompliance - Assists the development and implementation of policies, procedures and control mechanisms to promote compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. P</li> <li>roactive guidance - Stays abreast of new regulations and emerging legal risks; provides proactive advice and counsel to business units and corporate functions that may be impacted. D</li> </ul> <p>emonstrates the development of core legal expertise and support for legal affairs of business units or enterprise-wide functions. D</p> <ul> <li>evelops broad understanding of the operational model by which the supported business unit or enterprise-wide function operates. S</li> <li>upports clients on a cost-effective basis. M</li> <li>anages outside counsel in an efficient and cost effective manner, as necessary. D</li> </ul> <p>igital Technology and E-Commerce Legal Support. A</p> <ul> <li>cquire and maintain knowledge of company systems, tools and processes and procedures relevant to digital technology, e-commerce, and digital customer solutions. D</li> <li>raft, review and negotiate technology contracts including licensing, software development, cloud solutions, consulting, data transfer and processing, digital marketing agreements, financial technology solutions, and payment processing agreements. A</li> <li>dvise on legal issues related to the Company’s e-commerce platforms, websites, and customer-facing software applications, including advising on terms and conditions, consumer disclosures/disclaimers, data collection and use, and product fulfillment and delivery. L</li> <li>ead, collaborate and support projects and provide general legal support for Company’s digital initiatives, including advising on emerging technologies, use of artificial intelligence, and consumer data analytics. S</li> <li>tay up-to-date on new regulations and emerging legal risks and provide proactive advice and counsel to corporate functions and business units. D</li> </ul> <p>ata Privacy and Cybersecurity. A</p> <ul> <li>cquire and maintain knowledge of Company systems, tools and processes and procedures relevant to data privacy and cybersecurity. A</li> <li>dvise on domestic and international data collection, processing, handling, and transfer issues, and provide counsel on contracts involving the collection, processing, handling, and transfer of personal data. E</li> <li>nsure the Company’s compliance with existing and emerging domestic and international data privacy legislation; develop and recommend changes to the Company’s operations and policies to comply with privacy laws. A</li> <li>dvise on day-to-day data privacy issues and policy development, with a particular focus on vendor privacy and security compliance initiatives, including support of Company’s cybersecurity compliance team. O</li> </ul> <p>ther Corporate &amp; Administrative Matters. S</p> <ul> <li>upport projects, negotiate agreements and provide advice on other assigned corporate and administrative matters. E</li> <li>xperience advising on a range of issues relating to digital technology, data privacy, cybersecurity and other contract matters.
