<p>Position description:</p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for investigation, analysis and resolution of claims and demands made by attorneys representing consumers in the area of consumer litigation including lemon law, product liability and subrogation claims nationwide.</li>
<li>Work on legal research projects involving warranty and automotive law questions.</li>
<li>Retain and collaborate with the outside counsel for handling of consumer lawsuits.</li>
<li>Manage, support and work on strategy of lawsuits filed by consumer attorneys.</li>
<li>Work with and advise consumer affairs case managers on the best case handling and resolution.</li>
<li>Attend mediations, arbitrations and trials along with the outside counsel.</li>
<li>Manage claims and lawsuits in the most cost-effective and efficient way.</li>
<li>Provide counseling and training to the consumer affairs, other business units and dealerships in relation to consumer warranty-related issues such as state Attorney General inquiries, lemon law prevention and disclosure, pre-sale damage disclosure questions and claims, dealership indemnification issues, and consumer satisfaction questions.</li>

<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Passed CA bar exam</li>
<li>3+ years of litigation experience desired</li>
<li>Prior consumer litigation or lemon law experience is a plus</li>
</ul>

<p>Salary: $60/hr - $85/hr</p>
