The person hired for this position would ideally have technical fluency in cellular wireless (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G, GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE-A), wireless local area networks (e.g., Wi-Fi, 802.11xx), wireless personal area networks (e.g., Bluetooth), and/or near-field communications technologies. Preference will be given to candidates who have prepared and prosecuted at least 40 original patent applications, including a substantial number in the area of electrical and software-based technologies, particularly signaling processing and standardized protocols for wireless communication technologies.
