Job Description: Insurance M&A Associate | New York or Washington, DC | #3242 Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of experience to work with its Insurance Transactions & Products practice group in the NY or DC office. We are looking to add a team member with experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions. Job Requirements: We are seeking attorneys who possess: Two to four years of related law firm experience is required. Skills and experience related to handling a broad range of transactional matters. Prior work in insurance not required, but knowledge of the insurance industry would be a significant plus. Working knowledge of pension risk transfer (PRT) transactions, asset-intensive reinsurance transactions, matters involving complex or unique collateral arrangements or structures, assisting insurers in managing their long-term credit exposure, and advising on asset management issues involving various structured classes of assets, fee structures and hedges would be especially valued. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Strong academic records and impressive writing and communication abilities. A detail-oriented approach, professionalism, self-motivation, and confidence.
