Seyfarth Shaw LLP is looking for a counsel level attorney with significant litigation experience representing lenders in residential foreclosures. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial litigation experience in state and federal courts, with significant experience representing lenders, banks or other financial institutions in consumer financial services litigation and mortgage foreclosures, with related bankruptcy experience a strong plus. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and oral and written communication skills are a must. Top law firm experience preferred. The candidate must be admitted and in good standing in the state bar of the resident office and state bar in which they reside. This Counsel role is a flexible part-time position, to be compensated on an hourly basis, and ideal for a lawyer who does not presently seek to be in a partner-track position or required to work a regular full-time schedule. We will consider candidates working from a virtual/remote office, including from home, but with access to our local offices.
